Basketball team Windrose Giants Antwerp, with the Lotto Arena as their home base, has strengthened its lineup by signing American forward Clarence Daniels (23). Standing at 1.98 meters and known for his standout performance with the New Hampshire Wildcats in the NCAA, Daniels promises to be a valuable addition to the team.
In the 2023-24 season, Daniels averaged 19.8 points and 9.4 rebounds per game, earning him the title of "American East Conference Player of the Year." He participated in the prestigious Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (a pre-NBA draft event) and made an impression in the NBA Summer League with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After starting this season with Maccabi Netanya in Israel, Daniels is now set to make his debut in Antwerp, where he is expected to arrive this week. His signing marks the first step in a series of planned roster enhancements for Windrose Giants Antwerp. Meanwhile, the club bids farewell to Jo Van Buggenhout.
With Daniels on board, the Giants aim to pursue their ambitions at Lotto Arena and offer their fans an exciting season filled with new successes.
