Lil Tjay is an American rapper, born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Lil Tjay started releasing his first tracks at 16 on SoundCloud including ‘Resume’ and ‘Brothers’ which gave him his first internet smash. Quickly amassing millions of listeners with several singles and several successful collaborations, the young New Yorker dropped his platinum debut album ‘True 2 Myself’ in2019, featuring Riley Lanez, Jay Critch, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and Lil Wayne. This was followed by the mixtape ‘State of Emergency’ in 2021, including collabs with Fivio Foreign, Pop Smoke, Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Jay Critch, J.I the Prince of N.Y and Jay Gwuapo. After this, Lil Tjay was catapulted to the top of the charts and, along the way, amassed over 6 billion streams to his name.

His second album ‘Destined 2 Win’ (2021) features more impressive collaborations with 6LACK, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Tyga, Saweetie, Toosii, Offset and Moneybagg Yo which was followed by other successful singles like ‘Vroom’ with The FaNaTiX, Idris Elba, Davido, Koffee and Moelogo, ‘In My Head’, ‘Goin Up’, ‘Beat the Odds’, the remix of ‘Eastside’ with North Ave Jax and ‘Give You What You Want’.

In 2023, he released the song ‘Gangsta Boo’ with fellow New York artist Ice Spice, followed by the release of his his third studio album, ‘222’, which was named after the day he got shot seven times during a botched robbery attempt on June 22nd , 2022.
